Dr. E. Susithra [M. Pharm., PhD] serves as the Associate Director, IQAC of Sri Venkateswaraa University. With over 20 years of academic and research experience, she had held key positions in reputed institutions in the Department of Pharmacognosy, at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) and Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER). She has the Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from JNTU, Hyderabad, and PG & UG degrees in Pharmacy from The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai.
Dr. Susithra has published 30+ research papers in SCI/Scopus-indexed journals, holds five patents (three granted), a book and has contributed to national, international conferences, workshops, and collaborations. Her accolades include the T. T. Srinivasan Gold Medal, Associate Fellowship by Andhra Pradesh Academy of Sciences, Summer Research Fellowship by INSA-NASI-IAS, Travel Grant Award by Welcome Trust-DBT India Alliance, Local Chapter Award by Society of Ethnopharmacology, SFE-India Chapter etc.
She is a Certified Lead Auditor for ISO standards and has played a pivotal role in NAAC, ISO, PCI accreditations/certifications and ranking frameworks at multiple institutions. Recognized as a chairperson and resource person in prestigious events, Dr. Susithra continues to excel in academic leadership, quality assurance, and research promotion while developing collaborations with national and international institutions. Her thoughtful structured strategy continues to reinforce the University's position of institutional eminence.
